How can I bring my pet to see a veterinary oncologist in person?

While in many situations your family veterinarian is the best person to care for your pet, there are times when referral is appropriate.

As the only veterinary oncologists in New South Wales, we are each available to see patients by referral one day a week at the Animal Referral Hospital in Strathfield (Sydney area). Please ask your veterinarian to arrange a referral directly through the Animal Referral Hospital ((02) 9758 8666).

We practice all aspects of medical oncology, including chemotherapy, as well as radiation therapy, and work with surgical, medical, and imaging specialists to provide your pet with the best possible cancer care team. Our appointment for a first meeting lasts one hour, which allows us time to get to know you and your pet, review case information from your family veterinarian, explain your pet's condition and help you to decide on the best treatment plan for your pet to ensure his or her best possible quality of life.

We realize this is a very emotional time for you, and we hope that by empowering you with knowledge, we can help you make the best decision for your pet and your family.

In other geographic areas: We can help you find care for your pet with cancer in several other major metropolitan areas in Australia, Japan and the USA. Please ask your veterinarian to contact us for advice.
